Speaking Objectively
Everyone
Views things
Differently.
Proof of our
Individuality and
Finely-formed
Minds.
Whether we should
Be trusted
Or allowed to
Act out
Those thoughts
To the detriment
Of others
Is quite
Another thing.
Some words
That die
In the brain
Do so
For good reason.
⠀
●
⠀
A whiff of
That old fail-safe
"democracy"
Has us
Beating our chests;
Reciting mantras,
Indelible rights
In tow.
Rights which are
As much
Theirs
As yours
And mine.
They too,
Whatever their
Colour or creed,
Deserve the
Freedom to
Choose
Without fear of
Denunciation and
Aggression.
⠀
●
⠀
When the world
Is upside-right,
And God
Is left to
Decide
What
Takes precedence
When,
We are
Always assured
Of an Arbiter
Who is without
Bias
Error
Or ego.
⠀
●
⠀
The bonuses?
Outstanding!
Oodles of
Tender
Compassionate
Merciful
Love.
Plus
A plan
So marvellous
An Oscar
Wouldn't suffice
To celebrate
The scenes...
Good News
So fantastic
A Pulitzer jury
Would dismiss it
Out of hand
As ridiculously
And unbelievably
Unfactual...
⠀
●
⠀
Bottom line
We can choose
To be right
About everything,
Striving to prove it
In unorthodox and
Demeaning ways,
Or simply practise
Peace.
Because the two
Invariably
Do not tally.
My rights,
Your misery.
Your stance,
My pain.
Tolerance
Would seem
To be
A very happy
Middle ground.
Our intertwined lives
One unnegotiable
Walk together.
Harmony personified.
Eden beckons...

📖 Always be humble and gentle. Patiently put up with each other and love each other. Try your best to let God's Spirit keep your hearts united. Do this by living at peace.
