Valentine's week is one in which ladies - single and married - traditionally look forward to receiving flowers and chocolates, and being wined and dined.

And make no mistake, a pandemic-induced lockdown is not dampening our ardour when it comes to celebrating! Specially crafted takeaways (worthy of a saint) are in such hot demand, we can only hope the beleaguered delivery services can cope!!

Zoom dating is officially a thing, and with it all the accoutrements of our favourite restaurants.

He who is capable of adapting in life and love, is assured of both progress and success!!!

Come the 15th, however, we wake up and realise life has gone back to normal. Which usually means less of the glamour and best-behaviour, and more of the everyday "this is just me" stuff; which seems innocuous, yet can quickly add up to a whole lot of something.
